Description
This example is a car lift powered by a three-phase induction motor driven pump. Three valves are used to control the pump outlet flow, directing it either to the extend port of the hydraulic cylinder or to the tank return. When pressurized, the cylinder lifts the 2000 kg vehicle.
The simulation results show the motor phase A current and shaft speed (see upper left waveform viewer, zoomed in on initial start-up time), as well as the lift position of the car and the extend port pressure (upper right viewer).
