The PartQuest Explore User Interface

The Schematic Editor

The PartQuest Explore Schematic Editor contains the following:

  • The Schematic Canvas is where the design is displayed and edited.
  • The Toolbar above the canvas contains useful commands.
  • The left sidebar contains the Component Browser, where the user can find and select components or create new components.
  • The Right Sidebar is where the user can view and edit design information.
  • The Waveform Viewer is where simulation results can be viewed and analyzed.

Note: the terms "schematic" and design" are interchangeable.

The Component Browser, Right Sidebar, and Waveform Viewer can be collapsed and expanded using the gray arrow Gray dropdown arrow icon used to collapse and expand a panel buttons.
